Data controller

The data controller for 22R is Just Be Media LLC (a Florida limited liability company). You can reach us at lamar@alwaysbeme.com.

What we collect

When you sign up for the 22R Program, we collect the fields you provide on the form:

• Your name and email (required).
• Phone, ZIP code, and timezone if you share them.
• Military connection, branch, and era if you share them.
• Reasons you're joining, and your preferred contact method.
• The consent selections you make.
• A one-way hashed version of your IP address, used only for rate limiting.

What we do not do

• We do not send data from the crisis page or any crisis-panel interaction to analytics, ad networks, or third-party pixels.
• We do not classify, label, or store you as high-risk based on how you check in. Journal text you enter is only visible to you and is never surfaced to administrators.
• We do not sell or rent your personal information.
• We do not send marketing email or SMS unless you explicitly opted in.
• We do not track your precise location. The optional ZIP field is used only for regional resource routing and is kept coarse.

Crisis-safety data rules

• The /crisis page is fully public. It never sits behind a login wall. No analytics events capture crisis intent, method, or details.
• A low mood on a check-in never triggers an admin alert. We do not aggregate mood or connection scores in ways that could out someone who is having a hard day.
• Community wall posts are moderated before public display. Rejected content is deleted without notifying the author, so the moderation queue can never be weaponized.

Your choices

You can email lamar@alwaysbeme.com to request access to your information, correct it, or delete it. We will confirm deletion within 30 days. If you have a 22R account, a self-serve delete-account option is available inside the app.

Not HIPAA

22R is not a HIPAA-covered service. We are a peer-support movement, not a healthcare provider. Please do not share sensitive medical information through this site.
